Terms of Use

Article 1. Services

• The Operator provides webtoons, web novels, videos, the Sound Visual Lab, web games, a community and a Creator Studio.
• The Operator's official webtoons, web novels, videos and their covers and illustrations are made with generative AI.
• Advertisements may appear on the service.

Article 2. Posting and changing these terms

• The Operator posts these terms through a link at the bottom of the service.
• When the terms change, the Operator announces the changes and the effective date in a community notice before they take effect.

Article 3. Membership and accounts

• You can join with an ID verified by email, or sign in with a Google account.
• Members must enter their age truthfully at sign-up and in their profile. The Operator applies content ratings using the age entered and performs no separate identity check.
• Members are responsible for managing their account and password. Passwords can be reset through email verification.
• Children under 14 cannot sign up. Minors aged 14 or older can use only works suitable for their age rating.

Article 4. Earning points

Points are a unit of use within the service only. They are granted for the following activities.

• Sign-up grant: 10,000P
• Check-in: 100P once a day
• Daily missions: Watch a webtoon 50P, read a web novel 50P, play a game 50P, post a comment 30P. Each can be claimed once a day after meeting its condition (up to 180P a day).
• Referrals: 300P each to the member who registers a referral code and to the referrer. A code can be registered once per account.
• Bug reports: 100P per bug report from a signed-in member, up to 3 times in 24 hours.
• Game rewards: Clear or victory rewards for each game. Amounts are shown on each game screen.

Points are granted within a total set by the Operator. If that pool runs short, rewards may be reduced or not granted.

Article 5. Spending points

• Webtoon episodes: Default 50P to own, 30P for a 3-day rental
• Web novel episodes: Default 50P to own, 30P for a 3-day rental
• Videos: Default 100P
• Sound Visual Lab themes: Default 30P
• Game entry: AI match entry fees vary by game and difficulty and are shown on screen before you start. Member-versus-member matches are free.

Works and episodes may be free or priced differently. Content you already own or that is within its rental period is not charged again.

When another member opens paid content a member registered through the Creator Studio, the points spent are transferred to that creator.

Article 6. Nature and limits of points

• Points are not currently sold for cash and cannot be exchanged for or refunded as cash or goods.
• There is no feature for members to gift or transfer points directly to each other.
• Point balances currently have no expiry date.
• Spent points are not returned. If a service error charged points incorrectly, let customer support know and they may be adjusted after review.
• The Operator does not reset all members' points in bulk. Changes to point rules or operations are announced in advance in a community notice. Points obtained through abuse may be recovered from the member concerned.

Article 7. Games and points

• Member-versus-member matches are free and no points change hands between members. Only wins, losses and rankings are recorded. An opponent who disconnects may be treated as having forfeited after a certain time.
• A member's daily net profit from AI matches cannot exceed 5,000P; victory rewards above that are held until the Operator reviews them.
• Point settlements for AI matches and single-player games are limited to 30 per member per hour, and each settlement has an upper limit. The Operator reviews suspicious transactions.
• Game points are for entertainment and have no monetary value.

Article 8. Prohibited conduct

• Using another person's account, or obtaining points or rankings improperly with multiple accounts or automation tools
• Exploiting service errors, reverse engineering the software, unauthorized crawling, and unauthorized copying or redistribution of content
• Posting material that infringes others' rights or violates the law, and abusive language, defamation or advertising spam

Article 9. User posts and creations

• Rights in and responsibility for comments, posts and creations uploaded by a member rest with that member.
• The Operator stores and displays them to the extent needed to provide the service.
• The Operator may hide or delete posts that violate the law or these terms, or for which a rights infringement report has been received.
• Copyright matters follow the Copyright Policy.

Article 10. Restrictions

If a member violates these terms, the Operator may record the reason and suspend or ban the account. Suspended accounts cannot sign in, and objections can be raised through customer support.

Article 11. Withdrawal

• Members can withdraw at any time from the profile menu.
• Withdrawal deletes the account, point balance and history, check-in records, comments, likes and ratings on webtoons, web novels and videos, favorites and bookmarks, and these cannot be recovered.
• Purchase records are also deleted. Community posts and comments remain, but the author is changed to "Withdrawn member" and the member ID is removed. Personal information you wrote in a post is not removed, so please delete such posts yourself before withdrawing.
• Remaining points are not refunded.

Article 12. Changes and suspension of service

The Operator may change content, point amounts and features, or suspend part or all of the service, and announces changes with a significant effect on users in a community notice.

Article 13. Limitation of liability

The Operator is not liable for service failures arising from causes without its intent or gross negligence, such as natural disasters or equipment failures. Disputes between members, or between a member and a third party, are in principle resolved by the parties.

Article 14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court for any dispute is determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
