Author: KOXLO AI Studio

On a stormy midnight highway in the rugged mountains of Gangwon-do, 29-year-old Yeouido hedge fund manager Kang Seo-jin flees in despair after orchestrating a fraudulent real estate fund, preparing to steer his car over a fatal cliff. Through the impenetrable fog, a flickering red neon sign pierces the darkness: 'Diner Edge - 24 Hours Open.' Inside, the clock is frozen at 11:59:59 PM in a liminal purgatory between life and death. Behind the sizzling cast-iron grill stands Master Frank, a 70-year-old veteran of the Chosin Reservoir, accompanied by Yoon Chae-yi, an enigmatic waitress trapped for seven years after getting tangled in an art forgery syndicate. Through seven symbolic courses that force them to taste the true weight of their sins and confess their guilt, the two lost souls discover the courage to face reality, confess to the authorities, and find ultimate redemption in a deeply poignant mystery human drama web novel.
